Pulled the centre console because I dropped a clip behind it (still havent found the twat) and found this. Complete old Nokia hands free kit for a 3310. Fitting since like the car, the 3310 is extremely basic, brick shaped and near invincible.

Now to untangle it from the wiring...

My last car had a little custom breadboard soldered into the minidisc spot with a 3.5 jack coming out for aux. I just jammed all the wires in the back of the console when I sold it. I wonder if 5-10 years from now someone is going to take it apart and post a picture on some forum wondering WTF it is.

Haha most likely. I’ve found the remains of wiring from all sorts in cars, but never a full working handsfree unit from over a decade ago.
